CBSA has posted Customs Notice 16-08 to inform warehouse operators, carriers, and their service providers who transact business electronically with CBSA that form BSF673 used to request post-arrival amendments to key data elements as well as the guidelines have been updated.
Effective immediately, if cargo and/or conveyance arrival message were sent in error prior to the actual arrival, warehouse operators, carriers, and/or their services providers will be required to present a completed Form BSF673.
Form BSF673 must be completed and signed by an authorized representative of the client before post-arrival corrections to key data elements are processed by the CBSA.
