CBP has mandated carriers mandated highway carriers arrive and export their In-Bond shipments within two business days after the cargo has arrived at the bonded facility / port or exported from the United States.  The enforcement of the mandate will begin on Monday August 6th.  Carriers will need to provide CBP with the FIRMS code when they arrive their shipments.  A listing of the FIRMS Codes can be found on the CBP website.  CBP has also published a Frequently Asked Questions page on their website regarding the mandate.
