eManifest Information 

Within this section of the website you will find information related to the US e-Manifest and the Canadian eManifest highway carrier systems.  Highway carrier e-Manifest declarations were mandated by the U.S. Customs and Border (CBP) protection in 2006 and Canada Border Service Agency (CBSA) in 2016.  The e-Manifest / eManifest declarations provide U.S. CBP and CBSA visibility into shipments destined to the border which in-turn assists them in targeting shipments that may affect the health, safety and security of the U.S. and Canadian citizens.

There are a number of business rules, laws and regulations associated with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) e-Manifest and the Canada Border Services Agency Automated Commercial Information (ACI) eManifest declarations which international carriers are required to follow and are beyond the scope of this website.
